Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services is the Piedmont Triad's only private psychiatric hospital meeting the behavioral healthcare needs of our community. Our 164-bed inpatient services for adults and adolescents offers comprehensive and individual assessments, psychiatric evaluation and medication stabilization, daily group therapy and personalized aftercare planning. We also offer a Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program to ensure the continuum of care for our patients. Old Vineyard is accredited by The Joint Commission and certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. We are currently seeking a Dietary Services Manager to join our talented and caring team. Our ideal candidate will possess the ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on patient and customer service, building and maintaining positive working relationships with all hospital staff and demonstrating professional, effective communication skills. The preferred candidate will have a proven background of success in the healthcare industry in both service and kitchen environments. The Dietary Services Manager's primary responsibility is the day-to-day management of the Kitchen function and staff. This is accomplished through planning, directing, and controlling all food service related activities including: menu development, purchasing, production, and service while managing the dietary department operating budget through effective cost control procedures and systems. The Dietary Services Manager is further responsible for the training, coaching and recognition of staff as well as ensuring that all employees understand and comply with hospital policies and health and safety rules. Is responsible for maintaining and promoting a clean and safe work environment by following applicable state/local/federal health, safety, and food handling regulations.
