Field CTO, Public Sector

We are looking for an experienced Field CTO Public Sector to serve as the senior technical partner to our enterprise and public sector customers. You will interface directly with CIOs, CTOs, and Heads of Engineering as well as agency technology leaders and government IT decision-makers to validate architectures, accelerate modernization, and ensure every Blitzy deployment drives measurable velocity in software delivery, regardless of whether the environment is commercial enterprise or public sector. This role requires deep, firsthand understanding of the AI code-generation ecosystem including direct, practical experience with modern foundation models, toolchains, and frameworks for autonomous or assisted code generation. You know what's possible, what's hype, and how to operationalize it in real enterprise and government environments. What Success Looks Like You independently lead enterprise and public sector technical validation from discovery through expansion, owning the technical narrative at every stage You operate as a consultative, executive-level partner to customer technology leadership private and public sector alike earning trust through credibility and clarity You translate customer modernization goals into executable AI-native roadmaps with concrete, measurable outcomes, accounting for the compliance and security constraints of government environments where relevant You drive SDLC acceleration and sustained platform adoption for every customer you touch You bring authoritative perspective on AI code-generation models, platforms, and benchmarks guiding customers confidently through the category landscape You collaborate tightly with Enterprise AEs, AI Solutions Consultants, and Customer Success to align technical success with commercial growth You are a low-ego, high-output team player who thrives in fast-moving, collaborative environments Areas of Ownership Enterprise Technical Validation Lead enterprise-scale architecture assessments and proofs of concept from scoping through delivery Design and execute technical validation cycles aligned to MEDDPICC frameworks Translate complex technical capabilities into business value and ROI narratives for both engineering and executive audiences AI Code-Generation Expertise Apply hands-on experience fine-tuning, evaluating, and deploying AI code-generation models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, or open-source equivalents) Advise customers on how code-generation systems interact with software supply chains, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling Guide customers through the AI code-generation landscape — distinguishing what is production-ready from what is emerging Modernization & Adoption Strategy Guide customers through modernization, migration, and AI-adoption strategies aligned to their organizational readiness Advise on the architectural and operational changes required to succeed in an agentic software development environment Drive client expansion by uncovering new technical use cases post-implementation Public Sector Technical Strategy Serve as technical lead on public sector opportunities, translating agency modernization mandates into concrete AI-native software delivery roadmaps Navigate the compliance, security, and authorization landscape relevant to government software procurement (e.g., FedRAMP, StateRAMP, ATO processes) in partnership with legal/compliance stakeholders Support capture and proposal efforts alongside sales, articulating Blitzy's technical differentiation in RFP/RFI responses where applicable Build credibility with agency CTOs, CIOs, and technical evaluators who operate under different risk, procurement, and security postures than commercial buyers Cross-Functional Partnership Partner with Customer Success to ensure long-term adoption and measurable outcomes Collaborate with Enterprise AEs and AI Solutions Consultants to align technical strategy with commercial milestones Serve as the senior technical voice in enterprise and public sector
