About this role
Description
USRM's Distribution & Marketing team is seeking a Project Manager I to join the Strategic Partnerships Group (SPG) Insights & Solutions (I&S) Partner Solutions team. This role will support SPG's Auto, Home and Specialty Product priorities, serving as a liaison on product and state management topics while coordinating partner operations and internal communications across SPG. In this role, you will serve as SPG's connector to multiple cross-functional teams and external partners — representing SPG's interests on product and state management topics and coordinating Specialty Product operations. You will drive SPG's internal communication strategy, including the team's knowledge hub and onboarding materials. You will lead prioritized projects from scoping through execution, build alignment across teams, and keep leadership informed through clear, structured reporting. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem solver who is comfortable operating with limited direction and can bring structure to loosely defined or competing priorities. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build deeper product-liaison, communications, and project-management experience while gaining exposure to distribution, strategic partnerships, and high-impact business priorities across SPG and USRM.
Key Responsibilities
Represent SPG requirements and partner considerations in cross-functional discussions with product teams— identifying opportunities, risks, and operational impacts; coordinating stakeholder engagement; supporting product launches, partner onboarding, operational readiness, and post-launch issue resolution. Maintain documentation, governance, and communication routines for assigned product portfolios. Facilitate process to provide leadership with a near-holistic view of ongoing work, identify risks and challenges, and elevate actions requiring leadership consideration Support the broader Enablement expectation to communicate and document impacts, maintain self-service tools and workflows, and provide scalable support across SPG. Own the governance and maintenance framework for SPG onboarding materials, keeping content standardized, current, and appropriate for new employees and other identified audiences through clear content owners, review cycles, approval expectations, and repeatable update workflows. Identify and implement opportunities to improve the onboarding experience — self-service tools, role-based learning paths, reference materials, and centralized resources — using feedback and effectiveness measures to guide ongoing improvements. Lead assigned cross-functional projects from initial scoping through implementation and transition to business-as-usual operations.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects and programs from initial scoping through implementation and transition to business-as-usual operations. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations, introducing structure where roles, processes, or requirements are not yet clearly defined. Proven capacity to manage multiple complex initiatives and recurring responsibilities simultaneously while proactively identifying priorities, risks, and opportunities rather than waiting for direction. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including the ability to build alignment among partners with different priorities and areas of expertise. Excellent communication skills, with experience translating complex information for working teams, business partners, and senior leaders. Experience producing portfolio reporting and operational visibility for leadership audiences. Track record of continuous improvement, workflow simplification, change management, and implementation planning. Commitment to business continuity through documentation and cross-training, and to solutions that are repeatable, scalable, and sustainable.
