Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining Python/FastAPI backend services and React.js frontend components Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and DevOps to deliver reliable solutions Write clean code, support code reviews, testing, debugging, and issue resolution Learn and contribute to cloud-native practices including Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and GitHub Actions Maintain documentation and follow company policies, security standards, and engineering best practices Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications: Moderate to advance experience with Python and backend development Good knowledge of Microservices, FastAPI, React.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Basic knowledge of Git, Docker, CI/CD, and Kubernetes concepts Proven ability to troubleshoot issues with little or no guidance from senior engineers Proven excellent problem-solving, learning, and communication skills At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
