Job Description
AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in Raleigh on October 28-29, 2026. This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2027. The event kicks off on Wednesday evening with a networking mixer from 6-8 pm, where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines. On Thursday, interviews will take place at our Raleigh office. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities. AECOM seeking an Engineering Intern for their hydraulics team in the Raleigh, NC office. This position is expected to begin in Summer 2027. Responsibilities include: Performing hydrologic/hydraulic design and analysis for drainage systems, culverts, and roadside ditches. Provide CAD support using Bentley Open Road Designer (ORD). Collaboration with the design team. Assist in preparing technical reports.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: Currently pursuing a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Must have completed three years of study.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic principles. Focus on hydraulics/water resources within degree path. Problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
