Fulltime Permanent role Supportive, friendly and caring culture Large, stable global organisation Opportunity to grow and move internally within our business The Role The Fleet Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective management of all Fleet Operations for Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. This includes ensuring accurate annual fleet plans, ensuring optimal fleet revenue performance and effective fleet forecasting.
Responsibilities
Revenue Management including managing and improving the operational and revenue performance of operations and fleet department, identifying competitive rate strategies to increase market share. Monitor levels of customer service and continually identify and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction. Work in collaboration with Fleet Distribution Manager and Locations to ensure fleet demands are met. Manage fleet utilisation, distribution, shuttling, workshop coordination, and asset optimisation. Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external shareholders Lead and motive the team, create and maintain a healthy team culture and reward system Manage and control costs relevant to operations in accordance with the budget Ensuring that health, safety and environment legal requirements are met, the policies and procedures are followed Actioning safety reports, conducting workplace inspections and participating in incident investigations.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in field operations and fleet management, particularly in a transportation related field demonstrating capability in all core fields: Customer Service; Sales, Logistics, Finance with a proven track record.
