As our Fire Safety & Security Operations Manager , you will lead a dedicated team to deliver cutting-edge security strategies and robust emergency response frameworks. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM Overseeing daily physical security operations while developing and implementing a comprehensive fire safety policy across the Airbus Belfast estate. Lead contingency planning exercises and ensure emergency response teams possess the operational capability for immediate, effective turnout in line with regulatory standards. Manage fire safety service providers to ensure compliance with safety management systems and BS9999, while serving as the primary focal point for local authorities on fire and rescue matters. Drive the Airbus risk management process by completing fire risk assessments, forecasting capital expenditure for mitigation, and harmonising safety reporting across the business. Collaborate with Facility Management to ensure all fire detection, suppression systems, and equipment are strictly maintained to manufacturer specifications and national legislation.
ABOUT YOU

Candidate Musts: Recognised qualifications in both Fire Safety and Security Management. A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in security management. Excellent communication and organisational skills, backed by a demonstrated ability to analyse, assess, and resolve complex issues. Preparedness and flexibility to travel on company business at short notice. Desirable Criteria: A background in fire service or fire safety management within the commercial or industrial sector. Prior experience successfully managing a fire or security contractor.
