Associate Generalist - HR

What you’ll do: 
 Eaton India Innovation Center (EIIC) in Pune, is an integral part of Eaton’s global engineering and technology footprint. Through proven technical excellence, EIIC continues to augment Eaton’s leadership in improving existing products and services and developing new offerings.  We have an opening in the HR function where this position will support the HR Manager and Business Partners in Enterprise Engineering at Eaton India Innovation Center and will be directly reporting to the HR Manager. The responsibilities also include supporting on the HR partnering role along operational excellence for the group. The person in this position will also be responsible for assisting the HR Manager in the deployment of human resources policies and procedures, matrices and their dissemination through employee communications, and/or meetings.   •Execute Eaton’s HR systems and HR initiatives for one of our business verticals within EIIC. This would include. •Supports achievement of overall EIIC objectives through the implementation of effective HR strategy. •Ensures company values and principles are sustained and takes initiative on Process improvement, and is focused on building functional excellence, innovation, talent development and operational excellence.  •Support Enterprise Engineering in people processes and employee lifecycle management •Create a good candidate onboarding experience for talent joining Enterprise Engineering group. •Promotes positive employee relations and employee engagement •Execution of HR functional excellence through deployment of Eaton programs, internal HR Scorecards, ensuring quality of process and content alignment with the Eaton Business System •Support Operational excellence for business verticals. •Support HR Business Partners on processes related to hiring, learning and work collaboratively, share best practices, leverage projects and learnings, and drive consistency in programs, practices, and communications where appropriate.  •Foster a culture where ownership of health and safety is embraced by all employees •Foster an environment that promotes Eaton’s ethics, goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement.  •Ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively navigate and influence sensitive situations Qualifications: 
 Full time MBA in Human Resources from an accredited institution. 1-2 years of experience in Human resource management (generalist or specialist) in a multinational / matrix organization setup. Experience with Engineering & R & D centres will be an advantage Skills: 
 Technical Knowledge : Proficient in microsoft office tools (eg Excel, Power BI, Word, Powerpoint) Soft skills : Ability to understand, interpret and easily communicate and align policies and practices  Able to work with sensitive and confidential materials. Creative and Analytical mindset Curious to learn
