Responsibilities:  Experienced (Level 3) Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs Analyzes results and performs design reviews Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests). Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities Develops basic statements of work Participates in technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection Analyzes functional and physical input to assure development of complete integrated design Works under general direction Lead (Level 4) Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs Analyzes results and performs design reviews Leads the team to analyze results and performs design reviews Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests) Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities Develops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgets Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection Works under minimal direction Senior (Level 5) Provides guidance in the development of cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs Provides direction used by multiple teams to analyze complex results and performs design reviews Provides guidance in engineering design disposition on discrepancies Defines processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities Provides direction used by multiple teams to develop complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgets Directs the technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection Directs the development of functional and physical design requirements to ensure complete integrated design architecture Assesses and resolves product/process issues through the product lifecycle Leads research of technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and designs interim and final engineering solutions Directs cross-functional teams to analyze, conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances Leads investigations into complex multidiscipline system related events Uses innovative approaches and unique applications to address complex nonconforming conditions and to detect deviations Analyzes reported problems for potential safety issues This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

(Required Skills/ Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement qualifications directly related to the work statement. 3+ years of experience in electrical wire design. Willing to work travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
