Lead - Base Oil Terminal

Total Number of Openings 1 You will lead Base Oil discharging operations from port to manufacturing plant. This entails Base Oil transfers from Port to BOT and from BOT to manufacturing plant via tank trunks. The role will be responsible for liaising with Production teams to receive Base Oil tankers at the Port, liaise with independent surveyors for Base Oil tanker discharging whilst ensuring sufficient ullage based on parcel size, conduct physical verification of stocks at numerous points of dispatch such as the tanker and the BOT, coordinate with Base Oil Operator to carryout daily tank measurements in accordance with Chevron guidelines, ensure accuracy of documentation and security checks prior to Base Oil transfers and issuance of Work Permits for numerous maintenance activities within the BOT.

Minimum 3 passes at A/L Examination (preferably Maths/Science Streams) OR have passed O/L Examination coupled with a Vocational Training Qualification from a reputed institution (NAITA, VTA, DTET, NYSC, CGTTI, SLTTI). Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a plant/manufacturing environment. Demonstrate good interpersonal skills having worked in a prior team environment. Working knowledge of English and computer literacy. Job includes work at height. Candidates maybe medically tested to ensure required levels of fitness/endurance to perform duties of the role Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
