Summary The Technical Training Coordinator (TTC) is responsible for the end-to-end onboarding and technical certification lifecycle for new hires and existing staff within the Metals department. This role serves as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for all training-related KPIs, certifications, and system enrollments. The successful candidate ensure that new engineers are integrated efficiently, granted necessary system access, and tracked through rigorous certification milestones to ensure operational readiness. In addition to new hire onboarding, the TTC will actively develop training material for existing staff. They will establish a rigorous training program for the department consisting of engineers and technicians. The TTC will outline both equipment and process development plans, track trainee progress and continuously find opportunities to make the program more efficient to grow employee knowledge. This is a ground up position supporting the new fab in Taylor, Texas where the TTC will have the ability to establish the overall training program for the department. Role and Responsibilities Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For: 1. Onboarding Program Management Program Ownership: Lead the onboarding program for the department, serving as the host for training sessions following new employee orientation. New Hire Integration: Manage communications with new hires to maximize participation and engagement. Administrative Logistics: Manage work week rosters, submit completion reports, and provide coverage for other unit process leads as required. Access Provisioning: Coordinate and execute account requests and permission setups for all critical semiconductor manufacturing systems Infrastructure Support: Facilitate desktop setups for new hires to ensure seamless system testing and validation. 2. Certification & Compliance Tracking Milestone Management: Drive and track new hire progress through the training and development system Curriculum Oversight: Manage enrollments and attendance; proactively identify and resolve overdue courses to maintain department compliance. Specialized Training: Coordinate attendance for equipment-specific new hires for workmanship essentials in collaboration with the Technical Innovation team. 3. Strategic Training Collaboration & Analysis SME Collaboration: Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and implement training plans that align with department needs and Fab Engineering objectives. Performance Monitoring: Analyze training velocity; identify "slow progress" trends and communicate findings to leadership to influence corrective action. Workforce Development: Oversee the transition of all current staff into training plans and manage the implementation of cross-training and career development plans. 4. Governance & Standardization Best Practices: Implement and enforce training best practices to ensure consistency across the Fab Engineering organization. Departmental POC: Serve as the central authority for all training inquiries, including KPIs, certification audits, Samsung U curriculum, and system-wide training metrics.
Experience
