We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to provide strategic direction and leadership for the distribution center activities executed by our third-party logistics provider in Groveport, Ohio. The Operations Manager owns the performance management framework, driving our 3PL partner to exceed KPIs related to order accuracy, on time shipment, inventory integrity, productivity, safety, and cost efficiency. This role provides strategic leadership, drives operational excellence, and ensures alignment between the 3PL's execution and LS&Co's broader D&L objectives.
About the Job
Develop, maintain, and continuously evolve operational KPIs and performance dashboards for international stakeholders. Prepare and analyze the weekly and monthly performance reporting. Participate in daily operations calls/meetings and develop and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Troubleshoot data flow failures or missing information to ensure accurate reporting and system integrity. Lead support for issue resolution for any data flows to/from the DC and Levi's. Partner cross functionally with Levi's Distribution and Logistics Team, Tech, Transportation, Inventory Control, Finance, Commercial, and other internal teams to gather and interpret data supporting seamless operational alignment. Support the development and maintenance of data management systems. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in distribution, logistics, and data analysis. Drive accountability while on-site daily, identify performance gaps, and ensure corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data analysis, root cause methodology, and industry best practices to enhance service quality and operational efficiency. Ensure the 3PL maintains effective staffing models, training programs, and operational processes that support consistent service delivery. Oversee compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards within the 3PL‑managed facility. Act as an analytical lead or key contributor in distribution projects (e.g. new program launches, system implementations, process harmonization).
About You
Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or supply chain environments in the apparel industry. Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, PowerPB, Tableau, etc.) Proven ability to guide and drive performance in a matrixed or outsourced environment. Service mindset and demonstrated ability to identify trends, and drive strategic operational improvements. Hands on exposure to WMS, TMS, ERP systems, and related data structures. Strong expertise in KPI management, operational metrics, and performance-driven accountability. Exceptional relationship management and collaboration skills. Have a commercial and process mindset and understand business priorities and needs. Solid understanding of statistical methods, warehouse operations, and logistics processes. You work collaboratively as part of a large matrixed team, and balance demands of both the function and business unit. Motivated and striving to achieve team and personal goals. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in English (Spanish an asset). This is an on-site position in Groveport, Ohio, USA, reporting to the Director of Operations, also on-site. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs. The expected starting salary range for this role is ($101,300 - $148,500) per year . We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The
