Financial Analyst This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with a requirement that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

In the Finance and Corporate Strategy team we ensure that the business’s capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused. This is how we work to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. By gathering and analysing financial data we can influence decisions within the business, drive initiatives, and help ensure alignment with our wider objectives. Join us redefine what’s next for you. What you’ll do: Perform US GAAP monthly and quarterly close (preparation and posting of entries, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and company accounting policies and adhering to the documentation requirement and other internal control requirement), • Perform reconciliation of General Ledgers, • Prepare flux analysis for quarterly movement of Balance Sheet GLs, • Project testing relating to General Ledger area and • Other ad-hoc activities. What you need to bring: First level university degree with a focus in business or economics recommended or equivalent experience. Typically 1+ years of experience as a financial analyst. Knowledge and Skills: Basic understanding of accounting processes. Basic analytical skills. Good business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel). Good communication skills.
