The Consumer Shopping team is responsible for building the platforms and experiences that serve these users and ecosystems. Our mission is to “create seamless and coherent shopping journeys across Google, from inspiration, Research and Consideration (R&C), purchase, and cross-funnel, as well as AI-powered experiences that not only feel uniquely tailored to consumers' needs but also deliver great value for merchants.” We provide comprehensive results and help shoppers to discover, compare, and purchase products across Google Surfaces. Develop and execute a comprehensive Shopping strategy in partnership with cross-functional leaders to identify and drive key growth opportunities and business expansion. Serve as a primary representative for Google with press, partners, and stakeholders, actively identifying and pursuing new strategic partnerships to scale the business. Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive retail landscape and emerging consumer trends to inspire engineering teams to deploy complex, ML/LLM-driven software solutions. Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure seamless alignment with overarching business objectives and technical modernization. Build and scale exceptional teams through proactive mentoring, coaching, and succession planning to retain and develop leadership in a high-growth environment.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in product management, or a related technical role. 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
