The Equity Investments and Client Activities team at Parametric: We are building financial software that that solves some of the world's most complex financial opportunities. This includes building solutions to provide customized direct index exposure while making tax-sensitive asset allocation decisions to improve overall after-tax portfolio returns. We design and build financial software responsible for the account life cycle that starts with the onboarding of accounts through the management of client activities and investment instructions. We are focused on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions that are cloud-native.

We are looking for individuals that have a strong curiosity and passion for learning new things, while continuously challenging oneself to build things better and more scalable.  The Principal Software Engineer is responsible for providing technical leadership, project management, process development, training and support. The role will work across and within the Equity Investments and Client Activities team as well as Core Services and externally facing Digital Team.  This role will enhance the Direct Indexing business priorities, to design and develop technology solutions, and to improve business processes. This role spans across many services within the team building out underlying components that will provide critical services to the Equity Portfolio Management Platform.  These services will help streamline the rule-based portfolio analytics, order generation and straight through processing allow for exception driven portfolio management. This position will report into the Equity and Activity Services team and work closely with team leads across Technology teams, Business Analysis as well as Business Partners.  In this role, you will lead developers and projects and provide mentoring opportunities to the development team.  A critical objective for this role is to support the architecture and deliver scalable enterprise solutions, leveraging AWS cloud native technologies, designing and implementing micro-services and a relentless focus on performance and resilience.
