Hiring Event Position Title: Dry End Operator Pay Rate : $30.88 Sign-on Bonus : $500 after 30 days, $500 after 6 months, $500 after 1 year Additional lump sum after 2 years Category/Shift : Hourly Full-Time 2nd shift 3pm-11pm; 3rd shift 11pm-7am (Monday- Friday) Physical Location : International Paper 2135 Stout Field d Indianapolis, IN 46241 Phone 317-390-3330 The Job You Will Perform: Dry End operators set up, run, and clean up the slitter, glue station, and other laminator dry end equipment. Dry End operators report to laminator supervisors. Dry End operator’s duties/responsibilities include: following all plant safety, quality, product safety, and other rules and procedures. reading factory work orders and machine schedules to learn customer specifications. entering appropriate data and settings into laminator control systems. performing any dry end component set up and operations. initiating order changes. verifying (measuring) sheets to ensure that sheet sizes and score locations conform to customer specifications. checking other board quality characteristics such as color, caliper, line-ups, and bond. setting optimum run speeds. maintaining clean and organized work areas. helping on other parts of the machine as needed completing accurate records performing other duties as assigned by supervision.
