Standard Job Description Plans, designs and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities. Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility. Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice. Basic Qualifications Experience managing construction and facilities improvement projects, including renovations, retrofits, and infrastructure upgrades. Working knowledge of construction practices, building systems, and the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Familiarity with project management tools and processes, including scheduling, budgeting, contractor coordination, and risk mitigation. Documented multi-trade construction management experience Working knowledge of Microsoft Project scheduling and AutoCad use Desired Skills Documented experience in construction industry AutoCad certification Microsoft Project Ability to read/interpret blueprints and use digital/analog measuring devices Undertand the importance of team environment Self Starter Construction Estimating Experience Ability to coordinate multiple construction trades simultaneously.
