Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Systems Engineer / Principal Systems Engineer . This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program. The selected candidate will be responsible for the integration and test of hardware, software, and firmware test stations used for risk reduction and development of GN&C software. The selected candidate will also be involved in defining test set requirements and ensuring design and performance meet acceptance test procedure standards.
Basic Qualifications
This requisition may be filled at either the Systems Engineer level (T02) or Principal Systems Engineer level (T03). Systems Engineer (T02): Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline with a minimum 2 years of related experience; 0 years with a Master’s or PhD Principal Systems Engineer (T03): Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline with a minimum 5 years of related experience; 3 years with a Master’s; or 1 years with a PhD Required for both levels: Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need 1+ year's of experience supporting requirement development or verification Preferred Qualifications: Define test requirements and test objectives, using Systems Engineering principles Assist the team in the development of integration and test documentation
