Sr. Technical Program Manager, Account Integrity

Come build the software that protects hundreds of millions of Amazon customers and keeps us ahead of the bad actors trying to abuse their accounts. We are looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager to partner with our product, engineering, and applied science teams on creative controls that shut out fraud, scams and bots while keeping the experience seamless for customers and sellers, whether they are shopping, streaming Prime Video, asking Alexa, or reading on Kindle. This is a highly visible role that calls for real business acumen alongside technical depth. Key job responsibilities - Own end-to-end delivery of account integrity programs that span multiple engineering and ML teams, from intake and scoping through launch, dial-up, and operational readiness. - Build and run the program cadence for the organization: status reporting, milestone tracking, and escalation paths. - Manage cross-organization dependencies with partner teams across identity, seller, customer service, and applied science. - Drive engineering intake and prioritization. Consolidate requests from across the org, make the tradeoffs visible, and make high judgment decisions - Define and report the metrics that show whether a program is working, spanning detection and prevention effectiveness, operational health, and attainment against annual goals. - Support annual and quarterly planning, translating business goals into scoped engineering commitments and defensible resource asks. - Write the documents that drive decisions: program plans, business reviews, and leadership updates that a director or VP can read once and act on. - Find and remove systemic sources of delay. Where the process is the bottleneck, redesign it and automate the parts that should not need a person.

Account Integrity (AIT) protects Amazon customer accounts from the moment they are created. We keep bots and abusive automation out of our authentication flows, and shut down bad actor accounts before they can be used for fraud or abuse. We also own Amazon's defense against impersonation scams detecting scam contacts across email, chat, and phone, taking down fraudulent URLs, giving customers a way to confirm that a message genuinely came from Amazon, and partnering with law enforcement and consumer advocacy groups to hold offenders accountable. We combine machine learning at scale, deep risk expertise, and operational rigor to stay ahead of adversaries who adapt every day.
