Raytheon is seeking a talented and motivated Systems Engineer to join our team Systems Integration & Test Long Range Radars Department within the Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities Directorate who will support X-Band Radar technology that includes performing radar data analysis and systems integration activities at our Woburn, MA location. This includes supporting the systems data analysis and integration tasks and scope planning to create milestones and schedules and working competing priorities. Typical daily activities executed by the teams include scenario development, testing, data analysis, support to software development and systems engineering teams, and customer presentations. The individual will contribute to growing the team’s abilities and be able to work with both internal and external customers.
What You Will Do
Participate in integration and test planning/execution, executing verification/validation events, and perform scenario-based analysis to identify and resolve technical observations. Complete system performance assessments and validation testing to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications. Execute integration plans and testing activities according to defined tasks Milestones and schedules. Integrate and test radar system software builds in a String/HWIL facility for supporting integration, verification, test, and data analysis activities. Collaborate with cross-program leads/stakeholders to generate test approaches, ensure test-setup readiness, and participate in key processes (peer, gate, and test readiness. Confirm test and evaluation processes are conducted according to established procedures for software and hardware and ensure compliance with Department of Defense technology release and export licensing policies. Willingness for 10% local and non-local travel including experience with domestic and foreign military sales products. Experience leading Integration/Testing efforts, presenting results to internal/external stakeholders.
Qualifications
You Must Have Typically requires degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience. Experience with MATLAB, Python, Perl, C/C++, Linux, Unix, and/or other programming language. Experience with systems engineering, radar data analysis, integration, verification, validation and/or system testing.
