Global Supply Chain Data Scientist

Standard Job Description 
 Perform exploratory research and analysis to identify novel and meaningful patterns in data and uses statistical methods to reject or accept proposed hypotheses about relationships or latent predictive factors discovered through their work to provide business value. Uses a combination of tools, technologies, and numerical computing systems (i.e.: GPU processing, distributed computing, highly parallel coding, cloud computing, machine learning, visualization, system modelling and simulation) to achieve results. Areas of expertise should include several of the following: applied statistics, text mining, natural language processing, deep learning, optimization, and other similar fields. Work on datasets with applied statistics and machine learning algorithms; Use exploratory data analysis techniques to identify meaningful relationships, patterns, or trends from complex data sets and discover opportunities in datasets to support decision-making; Develop predictive models and new algorithms to solve data / business problems; Understand the math and statistics behind the models and interpret, extrapolate, and prescribe from data to deliver actionable recommendations using effective visualizations. The selected candidate will serve as the Global Supply Chain business owner for the RISE tool, providing leadership for governance, adoption, and day-to-day business integration across the organization. This role will function as the primary point of contact for SIOP-related matters (sales, inventory, operations and planning) within Global Supply Chain and will serve as a critical interface between business stakeholders and the Digital Technologies team. The role will require close partnership across a matrixed organization, including collaboration with supply chain stakeholders, SIOP, and technical teams. The ideal candidate will be an influential change champion who can define what good looks like, coach stakeholders on effective use of the tool, and drive execution through strong communication, accountability, and influence without direct authority.  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering, Operations, Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent experience • Experience serving as a business owner, superuser, subject matter expert, or lead for a digital tool, platform, or system • Experience working across technical and business teams to translate operational needs into functional or technical requirements • Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders in a cross-functional environment and serving as a central point of contact for business processes or tool-related matters • Demonstrated experience in governance, process compliance, data quality, or business system stewardship • Experience driving user adoption, enablement, training, or change management for new tools, systems, or processes • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence peers and stakeholders without direct authority • Experience managing multiple priorities, projects, or workstreams in a fast-paced environment • Demonstrated ability to analyze, clean, normalize, or improve business data
