A Day in The Life Of: In general, the following responsibilities apply for the Senior Software engineer role . This includes, but is not limited to the following: Complete assigned tasks within established deadlines Design and deploy CI/CD pipelines Design proactive monitoring and alerting Troubleshoot and resolve production issues Mentor assigned junior engineers focusing on project support and skill development Key Skills & Experience   Bachelor’s L8 degree in Computer Engineering , Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 2 years of experience Data Architecture , including schema development (JSON/Avro) and ERD-based solutions Experience working with CI/CD tools, preferably GitHub Actions Experience with IaC tooling, ideally Terraform Experience with AWS and AWS native tools including Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, Lambda Python (PySpark a big plus) Experience with open source tools such as Apache Spark and Iceberg AWS certifications a plus Experience working in agile teams using principles such as scrum and kanban Demonstrated experience automating routine tasks On call support experience Medtronic offer a competitive salary and flexible Benefits Package #LI-hybrid   Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.  ‌ Recruitment Fraud Alert   We are aware of phishing scams targeting job seekers.
