Senior Facilities Manager - Account Lead What this job involves: As a Senior Facilities Manager - Account Lead at JLL, you'll serve as the primary strategic partner for a major client account, overseeing all aspects of facilities operations and service delivery. In this leadership role, you'll manage a dedicated team of facilities professionals while ensuring seamless day-to-day operations across multiple sites or a large, complex portfolio. You'll be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive facility strategies that align with client objectives, managing vendor relationships, optimizing operational budgets, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires a strategic mindset combined with hands-on operational expertise, as you'll balance high-level account management with the tactical execution that keeps facilities running smoothly and efficiently. What your day-to-day will look like: Lead all facilities management operations for an assigned client account, serving as the primary point of contact and strategic advisor on facility-related matters Manage and mentor a team of facilities professionals, fostering a culture where everyone is empowered to thrive and develop their skills Develop and oversee annual operating budgets, capital improvement plans, and financial forecasting to ensure cost-effective service delivery Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality performance Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and client standards Lead strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency, sustainability, and occupant experience across the portfolio Prepare and present comprehensive reports on facility performance, project status, and key metrics to client stakeholders and JLL leadership Respond to urgent facility issues and coordinate emergency response procedures to minimize business disruption Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience Minimum 7-10 years of progressive facilities management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or account management capacity Proven track record managing large-scale, complex facilities or multi-site portfolios Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory compliance requirements Demonstrated experience managing budgets exceeding $5 million annually Excellent client relationship management and communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with C-suite executives Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and facilities management software platforms Strong leadership abilities with experience building, coaching, and developing high-performing teams Preferred qualifications: Professional certifications such
