Mechanical Design Engineer - FTE
Job Title ; Mechanical Design Engineer Location - Fort Worth, TX (Onsite) $80-$90K Good knowledge in CATIA V5 workbenches like Part design, Generative shape design, Assembly, Drafting and Generative sheet metal is preferred. Involve in NPD of Aircraft seating components. Designing three-dimensional models for aerospace interior machined parts, sheet metal brackets, and injection-molded parts for business and economy class seats considering DFM, DFA and other design requirements. Establish project work roadmap and analyzing work samples to develop standards for customer utilization. Creating detailed mechanical drawings using GD&T applications as per engineering standards, reading existing engineering drawings to ensure correct specifications of materials, easy manufacturing process etc.. Good knowledge on TSO drawings. Propose material change with correct material specifications to engineer when necessary to develop component functionality, aesthetic purpose and for weight optimization.
