Title: CAPV Technology Center Associate - Hydro/Thermal Location Preferred: Lake Jackson, TX Additional locations may include Stade, Germany Salary: $135,000 - $198,000 Schedule: 9/80, 5-8s; hybrid considered Relocation Available The CAPV Technology Center Associate will apply in-depth knowledge of chlorinated organics technology to assist the GCO businesses maximize the efficiency and value creation from the Hydro/Thermal GCO plants across the globe. This position leads coordination across capital projects, plants, and the CAPV Tech Center, serving as Olin's global expert for this technology. What You’ll Do Responsible for the definition of GCO technology minimum requirements in the Safety and Loss Prevention guidelines and execution of Process Technology Reviews for the Hydro/Thermal Facilities. Lead the identification, development, implementation and training of Most Effective Technology, minimum technology expectations, operating discipline and best practice documentation for the technology area. Analyze reliability data and assist plants in improving asset capability to maximize up time and minimize costs for GCO facilities. Provide plant support and unique technology knowledge for project design, startup activities, root cause investigations, advanced troubleshooting and problem solving. Leverage important technology and process technology improvements to other technologies within and across businesses. Evaluate and review project scopes and develop technology packages for upgrade or new construction projects. Identify break-through improvement opportunities and propose advanced solutions through interface with Process Research, Tech Center, Maintenance and Reliability, sister plants, fellow employees and own experience.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree* in Engineering; Chemical engineering discipline preferred Minimum of 10 years of relevant manufacturing or improvement experience ideally in multiple technologies 6+ years of manufacturing or technology experience in related production units preferred Proven ability to work under general direction and broad practices with complex tasks of non-routine character Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills across functions, organizational layers, cultures and companies Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively remotely Strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent judgment and calculated risk-taking abilities Prior global leadership experience in a related role is preferred Position requires up to 20% - 30% travel, occasionally international Prior Olin experience preferred US applicants must possess a valid US driver's license and be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) All In With Olin Olin is a global leader in chemical manufacturing and ammunition, with a legacy built on innovation, safety, and accountability.
