Key role responsibilities include: Supporting the planning and design of civil engineering infrastructure including roads & transport, stormwater, services and utilities, and earthworks for infrastructure projects. Delivering work packages including completing detailed design, engineering calculations and interpretation of site and project data. Contribute to stormwater design (pit and pipe layouts, hydraulic checks, minor drainage design), bulk earthworks support (grading plans, levels coordination, basic cut/fill inputs). Developing basic water and wastewater infrastructure (reticulation layouts, tie-ins, design checks). Propose practical approaches to new problems, escalating early where needed and applying learnings from previous tasks. Identify discrepancies in calculations, drawings, models or inputs and raise them promptly for resolution. Support client related activities including the preparation of tenders and proposals. Build collaborative working relationships with internal teams across engineering and related disciplines, and geographies, supporting quality design and delivery outcomes for clients.
