A Day in the Life The Cardiac Rhythm Management Operating Unit has an opening for a Technician I role. The Technician I is responsible for executing mechanical and electrical testing in the lab. This role will also support the engineering team to develop test methods and follow lab's accreditation processes. Our Cardiac Rhythm Management Operating Unit offers devices and therapies that treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms and heart failure. It is comprised of four key businesses: Cardiac Pacing Therapies, Defibrillation Solutions, Patient Management, and Procedure Innovations. Together, we will transform the lives of people with cardiac arrhythmias and heart failure. We are working onsite a minimum of 4 days per week as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary. This role will require less than 10% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.                     Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems Work from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions Operate related equipment; conduct tests and report data in prescribed format Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepare prescribed compounds and solutions Requirements:  Requires high school diploma or equivalent (United States), vocational or technical education or certification (all other countries) 0 years of experience required For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
