About this role

In the Engineering Lab, we explore the fascinating world of crystallization, thermal stability, heat of reaction studies. Our lab is equipped with a diverse array of instrumentation, making every day an exciting opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with experts in the field.     The Associate Investigator will provide technical support in two main areas – Crystallization and Reactive Chemicals laboratory through hands-on experimentation and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will possess an analytical mindset, a willingness to learn, and the ability to multitask successfully and efficiently. This role offers a unique chance to work with a variety of instruments and contribute to groundbreaking research.    What You’ll Do:   Operate and maintain laboratory instruments used for studying Reactive Chemicals and crystallization.  Conduct experiments and collect data accurately and efficiently.  Analyze experimental results and prepare detailed reports.  Collaborate with researchers and experts to support ongoing projects.  Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized lab environment.  Assist in the development and optimization of experimental procedures.  Communicates project status in a timely fashion.  Ensures samples are labeled in compliance with EH&S requirements and disposes of materials with expired shelf-life.  Capable of acting and resolving issues independently.      What Skills You Need:   Previous laboratory experience is preferred but not required.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  Ability to multitask effectively.  Proficiency in using laboratory software and data analysis tools is a plus.   A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, chemistry or related fields.  #LI-BB1   Benefits – How We’ll Support You: Numerous development opportunities offered to build your skills Be part of a company with a higher purpose and contribute to making the world a better place Health benefits for you and your family on your first day of employment Four weeks of paid time off and two weeks of well-being pay per year, plus paid holidays Excellent parental leave which includes a minimum of 16 weeks for mother and father Future planning with our competitive retirement savings plan and tuition reimbursement program Learn more about our total rewards package here - Corteva Benefits Check out life at Corteva! www.linkedin.com/company/corteva/life Are you a good match?
