Electrical Design Engineer - Core Electrical

Design, development, and integration of electrical systems/architectures and electronic components for heavy-duty commercial trucks utilizing Creo Parametric and Mentor Graphics. Design and document wire harness assemblies using the Siemens Mentor Graphics tool suite. Coordinate aspects of small to large engineering projects following company Product Creation Process (PCP) methodology and Design for Six Sigma tools to quality standards (including SAE and ISO). Use of Windchill and PCMS for product data control from inception through engineering design, manufacturing, service and disposal. Create engineering documentation including component drawings, diagrams, and change documentation. Test coordination, manufacturing support, and customer technical support.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics. Willingness to grow personally and professionally, ready to learn and make use of engineering processes and techniques. Ability to work in a fast-paced, lean, collaborative team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work with a team to achieve timely objectives. Commitment to reliability, value, and quality in all aspects of work; desire to join the World’s Best team. Experience with the Siemens Capital electrical system toolsets is preferred. Experience with 3D CAD, especially PTC’s Creo preferred. Travel up to 10% is possible as conditions allow.
