Together, we’re improving health and improving lives. The Labcorp Lab on Halsey is seeking a Project Analyst to join its team in Portland, OR . Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM- 4 : 3 0PM Responsibilities: Serve as a liaison between scientists, laboratory technical staff and management in support of diagnostics. Compile, analyze, and document laboratory test performance confirming validity for method validations, verifications, method correlations, linearity evaluations, and carryover studies. Serve as the primary laboratory technical liaison for two affiliated hospital systems. Respond to laboratory process questions and provide guidance regarding testing procedures, workflows, and laboratory operations. Field and research questions from QA or testing personnel. Assist with onboarding, monitoring, and documentation of training and routine regulatory functions. Assist with preparation for CAP and other accreditation surveys. Identify recurring process problems and recommend corrective actions to improve efficiency and accuracy. Adhere to the standard operating procedures and safety requirements of Labcorp , CLIA< CAP, ICH GCP, and other regulatory bodies. Follows any other job-related instructions and performs any other job related duties requested by management.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology 1 year or more of clinical laboratory experience Preferred Requirements: 3 year or more of clinical laboratory experience Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician (MLS/MLT) certification Additional Job Standards: Strong understanding of clinical laboratory operations and quality systems Experience with laboratory quality management, validation studies, and regulatory compliance Computer proficiency – MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, EP Evaluator Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills to manage timelines, deliverables, resource demands, and conflicts with attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
