Department Overview The Exacom Logging Recorder team is responsible for Motorola Solutions’ cloud-native logging platforms, real-time voice and radio recording engines, and AI-assisted analytics software leveraged in public safety, defense, and critical infrastructure applications worldwide.

We are seeking a skilled Back End Software Engineer to design and develop scalable, high-performance services that power our enterprise multimedia solutions. The ideal candidate has experience building distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native services with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

Design and develop distributed backend services using C# and .NET Build secure, scalable REST APIs Design data models and optimize database performance Integrate with third-party APIs and enterprise systems Develop cloud-native services and infrastructure Participate in architectural design and technical planning Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions Basic Requirements Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; equivalent experience considered Strong experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem (.NET Core/.NET) Experience designing distributed, highly available systems Experience developing RESTful APIs Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases Experience with Git workflows and Agile development Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills ​Preferred: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) Experience building CI/CD pipelines Experience with multimedia processing, VoIP, SIP, RoIP, or audio/video systems In return for your expertise, we’ll support you in this new challenge with coaching & development every step of the way.
