Job Area: Sales, Business Development & Marketing Group, Sales, Business Development & Marketing Group > Sales - ACIP General Summary: The Senior Director, Head of Global Commercial Compute Sales is responsible for defining and leading the worldwide commercial sales organization for Qualcomm’s PC business across all sales channels.  This leader will own global revenue/unit performance, partner engagement frameworks, commercial go‑to‑market strategy, and the regional sales execution model. This role will partner internally with business unit, marketing, and finance to develop executable growth strategies.  Externally, the role will partner with PC OEMs, channel partners, and enterprise customers — ensuring global consistency, local execution excellence, and category‑aligned investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the global commercial sales strategy , including market opportunity identification, sales coverage models, and partner engagement frameworks. Develop and coach an exceptional team of global sales leaders, including recruiting activities to grow sales talent in the organization. Own global revenue, unit, and mix targets , ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals and BU portfolio/assortment strategy. Develop and activate targeted go-to-market plans for enterprise, SMB, and public sector end-user markets Develop and execute scalable partner programs including incentives, marketing activities, and growth initiatives w/ technology partners, VARs, and distributors Partner closely with internal business teams on pricing strategy, range planning, and global product positioning . Monitor real-time sales attainment relative to goal and take appropriate actions with the team and partners to ensure success. Serve as the primary executive interface to PC channel partners and OEM sales leaders, including roles at key industry events.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. 13+ years in technology sales leadership. 6+ years of people leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA preferred. 15+ years in technology sales leadership (PC or silicon experience preferred). 10+ years of people leadership experience. In addition to experience, the successful candidate will have demonstrated competencies in the following areas: Strategic Execution: Ensures execution plan drives key strategic priorities and company goals; has significant impact on the direction of a large number of critical projects. Drives timely, complex, and strategic decisions that have a global reach and/or significant business or financial impact while adhering to Qualcomm standards of ethical behavior. Coaching & Development:  Provides leadership across organizations (e.g., creates a strategy for organization development, develops a strong talent pipeline/workforce and drives talent development to execute present and future business priorities, sets clear expectations for departments, drives coaching and mentoring relationships, creates a culture of inclusion and learning) and motivates peers, senior leaders, and employees to align individual, team, department, and organization development with the broader vision and goals of the company.
