As a   Healthy & Safety  intern   with us,   you’ll   find motivation and inspiration in a culture that emphasizes passion for patients as you discover your own strengths.     Location:   Valencia, Spain   Duration: 6 months   internship ,   30- 40   hours /week   Start:   October 19th , 2026   Please apply in English!       How you will make an impact :   Assist   in   identifying   workplace hazards and supporting risk assessments and preventive measures.     Support the implementation and monitoring of Environment, Health & Safety   (EHS)   procedures, policies, and training programs.   Participate in safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.   Help track corrective and preventive actions to ensure   timely   closure.   Promote a strong safety culture by encouraging safe behaviors and reporting unsafe conditions.   Assist   in data collection, analysis, and reporting of EHS metrics and trends.     Support communication and awareness campaigns related to safety,   health   and environment .     What   you’ll   need:   Currently e nrolled University student   in   a   Health   and Safety Master (Master   en   Prevención   de   Riesgos   Laborales )   enabling   curricular or extracurricular internships .   In the last year of the degree .   Full-time ( 30- 40h/week)   availability for   min.   6 months .   Technical background, preferably in   Engineering, Chemistry, or related   field .   Basic understanding of safety principles and risk management.   Fluent in Spanish and good skills communication in English.     What   else   we look for:   Attention to detail and commitment to safety.   Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.   Teamwork and collaboration skills.   Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment     What we offer:   Training in Environment,   Health   and Safety (EHS) management system, ISO14001&ISO45001 implementation and regulated environments.   Ability to collaborate with   cross ‑ functional   and international teams.   Project mentoring and supervision , with continuous technical and professional guidance.    Real experience   in a global medical technology company.    Potential   professional continuity   after the internship .   The internship may be used for your final master project (TFM).     What is it like to work at Edwards Lifesciences in Spain?    As a global leader in patient-focused medical innovations, we offer rewarding opportunities and exciting challenges in a truly international,   dynamic   and friendly work environment.    We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment where all employees can grow, personally and professionally.
