About this role
The role can be based in Luxembourg or London. At Amazon, we are always exploring new opportunities to shape our global business. Our Program Managers help us move forward with our best ideas and get everything in place to drive success. As you take on different projects, you’ll become an expert in our processes and see your experience evolve. Along the way, you’ll work closely with different functions across Amazon and see how working together makes us a leader in what we do. The role will involve understanding the full transportation network connecting upstream design to downstream implementation including physical and virtual transportation processes, from our fulfillment centers on to our final mile carriers who deliver our packages to our customers. As part of the EU Network Design Programs team you will combine business process knowledge, data expertise, and influencing skills to identify and drive programs to manage change across our transportation network. To be successful in the role, you need strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, ability to influence across business functions and manage stakeholders’ expectations effectively. You will work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment that requires you to be detail-oriented and comfortable in working with multiple business and technical teams. Key job responsibilities - Own the end-to-end delivery of network design programs, from scoping through deployment and benefit measurement - Define and manage program roadmaps aligned to the team's planning calendar, ensuring milestones land when downstream teams need them - Govern the quality of inputs that feed network optimization models, working with data providers to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and visibility of gaps - Translate technical model outputs into clear, actionable plans for operations and configuration teams - Drive cross-functional alignment across operations, finance, technology, and carrier management to execute network changes - Build and maintain mechanisms (dashboards, trackers, governance processes) that reduce reliance on manual oversight and tribal knowledge - Identify process inefficiencies and propose structural improvements, not just incremental fixes - Communicate program status, risks, and trade-offs to senior leadership with clarity and precision A day in the life No two days look the same. One morning you might be tracing why high-value network proposals were rejected and fixing the root cause before the next cycle. The next, you could be reassessing a facility constraint that just shifted and summarizing the trade-off for leadership. Priorities change frequently. An urgent capacity issue can reprioritize your week, and you will need to judge what can wait and what cannot. The constant is that you are closing the gap between what the network should look like and what it actually looks like in production. The path there is rarely the same twice.
About the team
EU Network Design Programs is part of Amazon's Transportation Network Optimization (TNO) organization. TNO owns the full lifecycle of transportation network changes across Europe: from analytics and network modeling, through governance and validation, to deployment into Amazon's operational systems. The organization brings together network designers, analysts, engineers, and program managers working toward a shared goal. Within TNO, our team drives the programmatic execution of optimization cycles and network transformation initiatives. We value simplicity over complexity, automation over manual effort, and outcomes over activity. Every cycle, your work moves the needle on how fast millions of customers receive their packages, and you can see it in the data the next day.
