Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will champion automation, foster collaboration, and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems. Team's Core Mission/Purpose: AIRINA – Airbus Enterprise Information Archive – is our latest archiving solution, provided globally to all our business divisions within Airbus - Commercial Aircraft, Helicopter, Defence and Space. AIRINA will gradually replace the current legacy archives. More efficient new technology will enable unprecedented improvements in reliability, quality, and performance. AIRINA will bring together People, Process, Content, and Data and represents another step towards Airbus' transformation into a data-driven company Responsibilities It is part of your job to ensure operational availability and reliability of the Digital Archive, optimize resources utilization and help guarantee applications performance and correct functioning. Engineering graduate/post-graduate with 5 - 8 years of experience in developing, delivering IT solutions. Min 3-5 years of experience designing and building complex IT systems. You will be leading and conducting troubleshooting sessions, problem root cause analysis and defining resolutions Automating the traditional role of system administrators for the Digital Archive to simplify day-to-day operations is part of your new role as well You will build and maintain appropriate monitoring as well as self-healing solutions to increase system resilience You will provide guidance and support for business and technical teams to fully leverage the benefits of automation and “DevSecOps” Coordinating collaboration and work share between development teams, system team and external teams like infrastructure operations and security is part of your activities As part of your role you are responsible to maintain the system team backlog, plan iterations, define, prioritize and accept user stories as well as participating in regular ceremonies conducted by the System Team Supporting and preparing regular SAFe ceremonies like PI Planning, Inspect and Adapt and System Demos will be of your regular activities Assemble and edit source code repositories to develop a software stack for the product needs. Respects the standards and structure of the given solution and the environment. Develops design specifications and parameters that are in compliance with products’ architectural blueprints. Participates in all phases of product development lifecycle, from the analysis, design over test and integration to operation of products. Researches, evaluates, and develops new tools to improve product development efficiency. Deploys, test and/or integrates highly available, scalable, maintainable, monitored systems and services. May assist in development of product user manuals. Coordinates the functional and technical integration. Defines the test strategy, scripts, scenarios and monitors test execution. Determines how existing applications, legacy systems, databases, web interfaces and/or hardware logic, which may be currently operating on multiple platforms, work together to meet the new and emerging enterprise requirements.
Requirements
You hold a degree (or equivalent) in IT, engineering or a related discipline You have solid experience in software development process and system architectures You have good understanding of DevSecOps concepts and gained experience working in and with agile delivery and operation teams Experience with automated configuration management technologies such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef is part of your profile You are familiar with logging & event management tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Zabbix, etc. Linux and Windows system administration know-how is part of your skill set You have experience with CI/CD pipelines as well as with methodologies, processes and tools, such as Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube, etc. You have
