Senior Buyer, Global Procurement Center, Manufacturing Purchasing

As a Senior Buyer, you will lead strategic and tactical purchasing activities, manage supplier performance, and work closely with cross-functional teams to support production, planning, quality, and sourcing objectives.

Maintain supplier, product, lead time, and replenishment master data within ERP systems to ensure accurate planning and procurement execution. Communicate demand forecasts and supply requirements to suppliers for raw materials, components, and finished goods. Execute purchase orders according to the supply plan and respond to planning signals generated by the ERP system. Manage safety stock requirements and validate material availability based on inventory levels, consumption rates, purchase orders, and scheduled deliveries. Lead supplier interactions to adjust requirements, resolve supply issues, and escalate material shortages when needed. Conduct weekly and monthly supplier reviews to monitor performance, align expectations, and drive recovery plans when required. Track and report key performance indicators, including on-time and in-full delivery, lead time compliance, inventory levels, purchase order accuracy, and supplier performance metrics. Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers and internal stakeholders while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing. Proficiency in written and spoken English. Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or equivalent. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Word. Regular collaboration with global suppliers and cross-functional teams (3- years of experiences) Requires participation in supplier and stakeholder meetings across different time zones (3- years of experiences) Preferred Qualifications Experience in the medical device industry or another regulated manufacturing environment. Experience using Power BI for reporting and data analysis. Knowledge of continuous improvement and cost reduction methodologies.
