Our Quantitative Finance & Economics team is part of the EY-Parthenon Corporate Finance practice. Our CLEAR (Commercial Litigation and Economic Antitrust) team is part of the EY-Parthenon practice. We advise clients, law firms, and corporate counsel on the economics of complex commercial disputes and the antitrust review of mergers and acquisitions. Our work spans expert testimony, damages and valuation analysis, class certification, econometric modeling, and merger clearance before competition authorities. If you're passionate about applying rigorous economic and valuation analysis to high-stakes litigation and regulatory matters, this rapidly growing team is perfect for you. As a member of our team, you'll work across a broad variety of litigation and antitrust engagements, supporting testifying experts, building economic and econometric models, and translating complex analyses into clear, defensible conclusions. You'll be working in an intensive learning environment in which you will be a key team member developing new approaches, performing research and analyses, raising issues, and challenging assumptions. Supporting testifying experts in commercial litigation matters, including the preparation of expert reports, rebuttal reports, and materials for depositions and trial. Building valuation and damages models, and performing analyses using Python and other statistical tools. Researching industries, markets, and individual companies relevant to litigation and merger matters. Conducting economic and econometric analysis in support of liability, damages, and class certification. Advising clients and counsel on the antitrust review of mergers and acquisitions, including relevant market definition and competitive effects. Developing and applying econometric and quantitative models, including hypothetical monopolist test (HMT/SSNIP) analyses, GUPPI and upward pricing pressure measures, merger simulation, and diversion ratio estimation. Preparing and presenting findings to internal teams, clients, and counsel, and supporting experts in regulatory submissions and before competition authorities.
