Job Description
Associate Director, Market Access and Reimbursement, Kite Kite, a Gilead Sciences company, has successfully launched multiple cell therapies across markets worldwide, helping to change the treatment paradigm in hematological oncology. We are s eeking a highly motivated Associate Director, Market Access and Reimbursement, to join the regional team and support the ex-US launch of the multiple myeloma asset . The role will support the Regional Execution Lead and the Market Access Director to ensure that ex-US affiliates have the health technology assessment (HTA), reimbursement and launch materials required to pursue timely and sustainable patient access. The position sits within the regional Value and Access team, reports to the Senior Director, Head of Regional Value and Access, and is hybrid based 3 days per week in Stockley Park office then in Q2 2027 moving to our new central London office. The Associate Director, Market Access and Reimbursement, will support regional execution of the multiple myeloma asset access strategy across ex-US markets. The role will translate regional strategy into practical affiliate support, coordinate market requirements, and oversee the adaptation and delivery of HTA, reimbursement and launch materials. The role will work closely with the Regional Execution Lead and the Market Access Director, while partnering with affiliate and cross-functional teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Regional Execution Lead and the Market Access Director in executing the ex-US access and reimbursement strategy for multiple myeloma asset . Act as a central point of coordination for ex-US affiliates, ensuring that market access needs, priorities, risks and timelines are clearly understood and addressed. o Develop and maintain an affiliate support plan that maps key HTA, reimbursement and launch milestones, required materials, owners, dependencies and delivery dates. o Coordinate the development, review, localisation and deployment of core HTA and reimbursement materials, including value dossiers, economic models, budget impact tools, payer materials, objection handlers and formulary resources. o Gather and synthesise affiliate evidence needs and payer insights and translate them into clear requirements for Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), Medical Affairs and other partner functions. Support affiliates in preparing high-quality HTA submissions, responses to HTA questions and payer engagements, ensuring consistency with the regional strategy and core value proposition. Monitor affiliate launch readiness and proactively identify gaps, risks and interdependencies that could affect HTA submission quality, reimbursement timing or access outcomes.
