We are pleased to announce an open position for a Operation Performance Engineer at the Dow Mozzanica production plant. The role provides essential technical support to Operations by applying engineering expertise to resolve plant issues, optimize performance, and ensure safe, efficient production of high‑quality products.
Responsibilities
Work in Operations, applying technical and problem‑solving skills to support daily activities. Maintain a strong field presence to promote safe, reliable, and compliant operations. Serve as a technical reference during unplanned events and drive effective corrective and preventive actions. Support and drive EHS and Process Safety culture. Foster an inclusive, collaborative working environment Analyze operational, quality, and logistics data (KPIs, asset utilization, trends) to validate results, diagnose gaps, and identify improvements. Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to conduct advanced troubleshooting and implement optimized technical solutions. Determines and prioritizes corrective actions to close Operational Performance Gaps (utilization, yield, uptime, quality, operating discipline losses, reliability opportunities) Lead and support capital and non-capital projects (expense and continuous improvement) using defined project and improvement work processes Provide leadership during plant maintenance, unplanned events, commissioning, start-up, and project handover to Operations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Materials Science. You have between 0 to 3 years of experience You speak fluent Italian and English.

Value creation / Continuous Improvement mindset and Application Note Relocation is not supported for this role Salary range The below gross salary range is specific to this role in the following location: Italy Annualized: €35.700 - €63.420 Monthly: €2.550 - €4.530 Monthly – 14 This role may be based in multiple locations; salary ranges may vary by location or country to ensure market relevance. Final pay is determined with consideration of relevant experience, depth of expertise, and skills.
