The Opportunity
Abbott Laboratories has a National Enterprise Account Manager, Reference Labs and National Health Systems opening in our Molecular Diagnostics Division. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior commercial professional, looking for success-based career progression. This role is responsible for driving growth in the U.S. Reference Laboratory and National Health System market by leading cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Contracting & Pricing to develop strategic customer solutions. By leading a targeted team, you will develop a deep understanding of customers' business objectives, network needs, and challenges, then develop solutions that enhance operations and drive measurable performance improvements. Through collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders, you will establish yourself as a trusted advisor, delivering insights and creating meaningful value. Leveraging a strong commercial background in healthcare, technology, or business consulting, you will take a consultative approach to identify opportunities to expand partnerships and grow Abbott's Molecular Diagnostics business. Success in this role will be driven by building executive-level relationships, developing strategic plans, and executing initiatives that deliver measurable results for customers and Abbott.
What You'll Work On
This is a high-paced role where you will be empowered and rewarded to drive and create value for our key customers. In this pivotal role your key responsibilities would include but not be limited to: Drive growth and market development within U.S. National Reference Laboratories and National Health Systems. Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders across laboratory, health system, and enterprise networks. Deliver end-to-end diagnostic solutions focused on customer retention, expansion, and long-term profitability. Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic account plans that maximize customer outcomes and business growth. Manage complex enterprise accounts, including account strategy, opportunity identification, forecasting, contract negotiations, and pricing. Partner with the U.S. sales organization to develop and implement financial and strategic business plans for national accounts. Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to support team development and performance. Develop customer-focused growth strategies based on market insights, competitive trends, and long-term business objectives. Lead cross-divisional initiatives that strengthen account management practices and enhance overall business performance.
