Join Lam as an IT Engineer, where you'll be at the forefront of designing, analyzing, and implementing applications and systems that form the foundation of our infrastructure. As a crucial member of our IT team, you'll contribute your technical assistance and guidance to projects for various systems and infrastructures. Acting as a technical liaison, you'll address complex business problems with automated systems solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving Lam's commitment to innovation and efficiency. What you’ll do
1. Network Operations & Support • Plan and coordinate network installation and upgrade schedules for offices (including weekend or holiday work to minimize business impact) • Lead switch replacement and standard network deployment activities across Taiwan sites • Coordinate with local vendors for network equipment migration and on-site implementation • Manage network equipment delivery timeline (switches, WAPs) and ensure readiness for deployment • Oversee installation of standard network components (e.g., Cisco WAP, switching infrastructure) • Ensure minimal service disruption during network migration (e.g., using secondary circuits, scheduling off-hours work) • Support temporary-to-standard network transition for new or temporary operational offices • Coordinate with firewall/network teams for testing and validation after deployment 2. Unified Communications (UC) Support • Deploy, configure, and support enterprise UC solutions including Microsoft Teams (Phone System, Rooms), Enterprise telephony (SBC, gateways, analog phones), Video conferencing & AV systems • Support new office setups (HQ / expansion sites) for UC deployment • Handle incident troubleshooting (voice, video, messaging issues) • Provide L2/L3 support for UC-related tickets and service requests • Ensure system uptime and performance • Collaborate with global UC teams for incident resolution and project execution • Coordinate with vendors for UC equipment procurement and installation 3. Server & Infrastructure Management • Manage and maintain physical and virtual server environments. • Perform server provisioning, patch management, upgrades, and performance optimization. • Ensure system availability and data protection through backup and disaster recovery processes. • Support data center infrastructure, hardware deployment, and rack-and-stack operations. • Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively resolve system issues to maintain operational stability. 4. Project & Deployment Support • Participate in infrastructure deployment projects, including new site implementations, office expansions, and technology refresh initiatives. • Support IT infrastructure components for facility buildouts, including network, unified communications (UC), and server infrastructure deployment. • Collaborate with cross-functional
