Optum Bank supports HSA accounts at scale, while modernizing a large, transaction heavy banking ecosystem. You will be a part of standing up new lending capabilities and transforming legacy systems into a more scalable, real time, microservices based platform to support significant growth in accounts and financial products. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of Software Engineering experience 10+ years of experience with the System Development Life Cycle 8+ years of software development experience with .NET and/or Microsoft stack development tools 5+ years of experience with SQL Server, including native SQL, stored procedures, functions including optimization 5+ years of experience working with CI/CD tools such as Azure Dev Ops or similar Ability to function as a mentor for junior developers, providing assistance where needed Preferred Qualifications: Experience in financial services or banking industry Experience with Kubernetes, terraform and Microservices infrastructure Experience with Agile development using Scrum or Kanban Full stack development experience Public Cloud Experience UnitedHealth Group work experience *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
