Department Summary Our DISH Media Ad Sales team, headquartered in New York City with additional offices in Chicago, Denver, and Los Angeles, empowers brands to reach their target audiences seamlessly across the DISH and Sling platforms. Specializing in data-driven addressable and programmatic advertising solutions, this innovative and passionate team excels in navigating the dynamic TV advertising landscape. Job Duties and Responsibilities Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview. Media Sales requires continued expansion of data partnerships, modernized operational infrastructure, and internal data workflows to scale and drive advertising revenue. This role leads the definition, prioritization, and execution of data-focused products to meet revenue targets and expand advertising capabilities. By translating business and sales leadership priorities into an actionable product roadmap, the position resolves data workflow bottlenecks and aligns cross-functional execution. What Success Looks Like (Objectives): Lead the planning, prioritization, and lifecycle execution of the Media Sales data product roadmap to achieve departmental revenue and operational OKRs Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams, vendor partners, and resources to eliminate operational gaps and deliver data products on schedule Translate complex stakeholder requirements into precise project specifications and obtain formal executive sign-off prior to deployment Utilize AI application tools and machine learning models to optimize data pipeline efficiency and enhance predictive sales analytics Construct financial justifications and cost-benefit analyses to secure executive approval and funding for proposed data initiatives Skills, Experience and Requirements Core Skills and Competencies (What You'll Bring): Critical experience managing data product lifecycles, operational infrastructure, and enterprise data workflows from concept to deployment Applied AI literacy to evaluate, integrate, and leverage machine learning models and automated data processing tools within media platforms Advanced functional skills in data pipeline architecture, data interpretation, analytics tools, and financial modeling Strong cross-functional leadership and vendor management capabilities to hold multi-departmental teams accountable to project milestones Proven problem-solving and analytical decision-making skills to diagnose system gaps and formulate technical solutions under strict deadlines Additional Qualifications: Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced degree Background in audience measurement and media sales data systems Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Product Marketing, Project Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent professional experience Professional experience in product management, data infrastructure, or analytics workflows Data pipelines, machine learning models, and analytics architecture Advanced Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and report development tools Financial modeling and project justification frameworks Visa sponsorship not available for this role Salary Ranges Compensation: $95,634.00/Year - $136,620.00/Year Benefits We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: EchoStar Benefits .
