Senior ServiceNow Developer – this role is a part of the global structure of EY as a Global Elite partner of ServiceNow. The opportunity ServiceNow is a global platform widely used to manage enterprise service processes and digital workflows. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for implementing, extending, customizing, and maintaining solutions across multiple ServiceNow modules. You will work closely with architects, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to translate requirements into high‑quality technical solutions aligned with best practices, platform standards, and client needs. We focus particularly on projects within IRM / GRC, HRSD, SecOps, CSM and ITOM, and experience in these areas will be highly valued. Your key responsibilities
Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications across supported modules. Implement workflows, automation, business rules, integrations, and data models according to functional and technical requirements. Collaborate with technical leads and architects to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with platform best practices. Work with stakeholders to refine requirements and translate them into actionable development tasks. Build and optimize UI policies, client scripts, scripts includes, integrations, and ACLs. Participate in code reviews, testing cycles, and quality assurance to ensure reliable delivery. Support platform enhancements, upgrades, performance improvements, and issue resolution. Implement and maintain dashboards, reporting, and Performance Analytics elements. Cooperate with teams working across ServiceNow modules, including IRM / GRC, HRSD, SecOps, CSM, ITOM, and others. Readiness to participate in ServiceNow Consulting implementation projects with a focus on developing new solutions and expanding system functionalities within the scope of R&D activities. Cooperation with R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new ServiceNow technologies/solutions that may enhance the efficiency of business processes. Reporting the progress of R&D projects and documenting the results of implementations, as well as post-implementation review
Skills and attributes for success To excel in this role, you must possess a comprehensive understanding of the platform and exhibit confidence when working through implementation, customization, or maintenance projects. This may be demonstrated through:
Strong hands-on knowledge of at least 3 ServiceNow modules (preferably IRM / GRC, HRSD, SecOps, CSM or ITOM). Practical experience with workflow design, automation, scripting (server/client), and custom application development. Familiarity with integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server) and broader enterprise architecture patterns. Understanding of relationships between platform workflows, data models, and cross‑module dependencies. Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
To qualify for the role, you must have
At least 3–5+ years of ServiceNow implementation experience. Proven development background delivering multiple end‑to‑end ServiceNow projects. ServiceNow CAD and/or CIS certifications (with IRM, HRSD, SecOps, or ITOM preferred). Strong understanding of ITIL and enterprise service management concepts.
Ideally, you’ll also have
English (C2) or other European languages would be an advantage but not mandatory. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or business-related field.
