Responsibility
Coordinate with sales team, sales operations and other functional teams to implement the “End User/End Use Statement” Procedures for Korea (esp Marine) and SEA (excluding India) businesses, Refine the Korea duty refund programs and managing regular filing of duty refund esp for Korea Marine businesses in Busan in line with KCS duty refund compliance requirements Get monthly import/export volumetric reporting using standard global reporting template Monitor and explore if any potential FTA duty saving/avoidance opportunities and work with relevant suppliers, importers to obtain FTA CoOs, so to realize and maximize the FTA duty saving Manage single broker of Korea businesses to handle customs valuation, customs classification disputes and issues. Make annual final declarations to account for royalty on imports. Foster trade compliance connections with all businesses in Korea, conduct regular trainings, provide oversight on sales transactions Perform regular transaction testing and end to end transaction reviews to validate if business transactions have been conducted in compliant manners. E.g import, export, customer screening, EUS etc Qualification Requirements: Strong self-motivation, able to work independently and proactively, goal oriented; At least 5-year relevant experience in global trade compliance filed, US multinational company experience is preferred; Fluent in written and oral English, about to communicate clearly and effectively in English; Good team player, positive thinking, good interpersonal skill; Best to have some basic US export control knowledge. Good at using excel and other analysis tools to do data mapping, data analysis etc.
