About the Opportunity Job Type: Permanent Application Deadline: 30 September 2026 About your role The CRD Delivery team is seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Technical Specialist to drive the design, engineering, and delivery of the CRD Integration Layer , a critical component of the Charles River platform ecosystem. The CRD platform is Fidelity’s core trading system supporting Portfolio Managers, Traders, Compliance, and Post‑Trade functions. You will be responsible for architecting and implementing scalable integration services, guiding engineering best practices, and ensuring high‑quality delivery across the CRD integration landscape. You will collaborate closely with product teams, business analysts, platform engineering, and release engineering to deliver robust, secure, and performant services. You will also assist in delivering the upgrade of Charles River from the current on-prem solution to SaaS. Core elements of the role include: • Integration Architecture & Engineering Lead the design and development of integration components for CRD using Java 21, Spring Boot, Camel, REST APIs, messaging, and Angular UI modules . Define architectural standards, reusable patterns, and best practices for integration layer development. Ensure all integration services are cloud‑ready, scalable, observable, and aligned with enterprise architecture. • CI/CD Engineering & DevOps Enablement Own CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Kustomize, Helm , and other release automation tools. Standardize build, deployment, and testing workflows across environments. Drive Kubernetes‑native deployment practices with automated promotions and pipeline governance. Assist in incident and problem investigation for CRD in collaboration with global teams • Quality Engineering & Test Automation Establish and enforce automated testing standards, including JUnit, Spring Boot integration tests, contract tests, and Gherkin-based BDD . Partner with QA to ensure high-quality, traceable, and automated delivery practices. Promote shift‑left engineering and continuous validation. • Collaboration, Delivery Leadership & Mentoring Work with a team of developers, setting coding standards, reviewing designs, and performing code reviews. Manage sprint-level technical planning, story refinement, and release readiness. Work closely with CRD BAs to align integration solutions with business workflows and CRD capabilities. Ensure production-grade observability through logs, metrics, tracing, and health checks.

Essential Skills and Experience 7+ years of software engineering experience , with strong expertise in building integration services for enterprise platforms. Hands‑on experience working with Charles River (CRD) or similar OMS platform with understanding of trading workflows, order lifecycles, compliance evaluations, and CRD data models.
