Job Description
The Senior Audit Group Manager leads and develops a team of audit professionals and oversees, plans and executes audits and/or projects of varying complexity and may act as a subject matter expert in own area of expertise. Provides guidance, leadership, coaching and development to ensure operational results and professional/personal development objectives are achieved for the overall group. Job Responsibilities : Leads a large, significant and/or highly complex, and diverse audit team for an area of significant risk, complexity or scope Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required SME with In-depth knowledge in liquidity / interest rate risk to manage audits for multiple, significant complex businesses, functional areas and/or global business lines Strategic advisor to audit executives of the managed portfolio with deep industry, external/internal, enterprise knowledge, recognizing and anticipating emerging trends and, identifying operational efficiencies and opportunities with other business management/enterprise areas Responsible for performing annual risk assessment and developing audit plan. Oversee other non-audit activities such as continuous monitoring, management dashboard and issues validation May participate in or leads various horizontal projects/ division initiatives as needed Job Requirements: Undergraduate degree with relevant professional certifications preferred (i.e., CPA, CIA, CFA, FRM, CAMP, CAMS, etc.) 12+ years of related Audit experience with advanced knowledge in audit standards, industry best practices, laws and regulations Skilled in managing budgets and resource allocation. Skilled in mentoring, coaching and performance management Skilled in using MS Office and Copilot Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form with management and business partners Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across functional teams and stakeholders Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting deadlines Ability to establish goals and objectives that support the strategic plan The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
