Regular or Temporary: Regular Language Fluency: English (Required) Work Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Please review the following job description: The ServiceNow Automation Platform Engineer serves as the technical engineering lead for AI, automation, platform modernization, and engineering productivity across the ServiceNow ecosystem. This role is responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing scalable automation and AI-driven capabilities that streamline engineering workflows, reduce manual effort, improve platform reliability, and accelerate delivery outcomes. The engineer develops reusable automation frameworks, intelligent workflow patterns, deployment automation, AI-enabled platform capabilities, governance validation, and developer enablement capabilities that support secure, compliant, and scalable platform operations. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and business stakeholders, this role leverages automation, generative AI, observability, and platform engineering best practices to enhance user experiences, strengthen controls, improve operational efficiency, and drive continuous innovation across the ServiceNow platform. Success is measured through increased automation adoption, measurable productivity gains, improved platform performance and reliability, stronger governance adherence, reduced delivery risk, and accelerated realization of business value. Collaborates with senior engineers, product partners, and architecture teammates to shape technology approaches for the domain, providing deep technical insight and proposing solution patterns that inform local roadmaps and priorities. 4. Leads the end-to-end technical design and implementation of scalable, secure, and highly available software solutions for the job area, producing patterns and examples that other technical professionals can follow. 5. Independently troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues in the area of responsibility, designing innovative architectures and performance, reliability, and scalability improvements that advance business objectives. 6.
