The Superintendent – MEP is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work on a construction project. This role ensures MEP systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contract documents, design requirements, codes, schedules, and quality standards. As the primary field leader for MEP activities, the superintendent works closely with project management, engineers, inspectors, and trade partners to resolve issues, manage sequencing, and keep the work aligned with project goals. This position requires strong field leadership, technical knowledge of building systems, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. Core responsibilities include supervising subcontractors, monitoring progress, managing logistics, maintaining quality and safety standards, and supporting schedule and cost control. The superintendent also helps manage contracts, risk, change-related issues, and pay requisitions, while ensuring subcontractors meet insurance, certification, and contract requirements before work begins. The role calls for advanced knowledge in safety, scheduling, quality management, planning, and subcontractor oversight, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Candidates should have extensive MEP construction experience, including electrical trade knowledge, experience managing schedules and subcontractors, and familiarity with contracts, plans, and specifications. Success in the role depends on consistent on-site presence, strong collaboration, and a commitment to safe, high-quality project delivery. Superintendent - MEP Required Qualifications: 10+ years of Proven MEP construction experience 7+ years of being a Safety and QAQC Cultural knowledge 7+ years of Electrical trade specific knowledge 5+ years experience managing schedules and subcontractors, and coordinating with architectural trades 5+ years experience working with contracts and exhibits 5+ years experience with detailed planning and demonstrated ability to understand plans and specs Currently, the company is not considering applicants for this position who now or in the future require employment sponsorship by the company.
