Biomedical Equipment Technician 2

Sodexo seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician II to support MLK Community Healthcare, a 131‑bed acute care hospital in Willowbrook, Los Angeles. The system includes a hospital and clinics serving a diverse and growing community.   In Sodexo’s Healthcare Technology Management program, you’ll partner with clinical teams to manage medical equipment and support patient care. We’re looking for a positive, motivated technician committed to quality, service, and collaboration.

The role of an individual contributor within the organization focuses on completing specific tasks and projects; contributing directly through their skills and expertise. Performs specialized technical tasks to support operations. Work is primarily achieved independently, however may collaborate with a team. Pay Range:   $37.31  -  $48.28  What’s in it for you Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment to ensure reliable patient care across clinical settings. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain compliance. Uphold regulatory standards and promote a safety-first environment, supporting audits and remediation efforts. Maintain accurate service records, analyze data trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve technical issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Mentor and train team members to enhance technical skills and overall service quality. What you’ll bring Technical skills and hands-on experience with medical equipment repair, calibration, and preventative maintenance. Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and coordinate service operations efficiently. A customer-focused mindset with the skillset to communicate effectively and build trust with clinical staff and team members. Problem-solving resourcefulness and the skills to develop practical solutions in fast-paced, real-time environments. A collaborative spirit and willingness to mentor or be mentored, supporting continuous learning and team development.
